Data and purposes
We process account and contact data, affiliation, authentication and session security data, IP address and browser identification in protected security records, submissions and declarations, administrative decisions, and internal AI-assisted pre-review results. We use these data to operate and secure the portal, verify and document submissions, communicate with submitters, prepare human assessment, and produce the HistoCrypt overview paper.
AI-assisted pre-review
Submission content is processed only by models hosted under the organisers’ control. The data are not sent to external AI providers and are not used to train models. The system may perform controlled read-only checks of public sources. Its report is visible only to authorised administrators, supports human assessment, and never makes an acceptance decision.
Recipients and publication
Authorised organisers and Program Committee administrators can access account and submission data. Accepted material may be shared with editors and publishers and included in the overview paper under the permission confirmed at submission. Public repositories and cited websites remain governed by their own operators.
Storage, security and retention
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; optional authenticator secrets are encrypted. Sessions, rate limits, protected security records, submission versions and receipts are retained as needed for security and scholarly documentation. Account and submission data are retained only as long as required for conference organisation, review, publication, documentation, and applicable institutional obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may correct your account data and drafts in the portal. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, restriction, deletion or portability, object to processing, or contact the competent supervisory authority. Contact us at the address above. Withdrawal cannot undo processing already necessary for security, review, or lawfully published and archived material.
